Service: Apply for development of safety data sheets (SDS).

The procedure of the service
Standard service timeframes:depending on the option chosen.
Fees are determined by an invoice.
  • 1 Send us the application for the service.
    • Send the application in free form to our email: passport@ciscenter.org;
    • "Request for the development of SDS" must be specified as the subject of the letter.
      The application must include the following information:
    • Product name in Russian and English;
    • The composition of products (weight fraction of ingredients (%) with identification numbers (CAS, EU numbers as well as REACH registration number - if applicable));
    • Information card of the applying organization (for the purposes of drafting the agreement) (partner card);
    • Please specify whether the SDS should be translated into Russian;
    • Please specify the country to which the product is expected to be shipped;
    • The names of documents in accordance with which the product is manufactures (GOST, Technical specification, OST, STO, etc.)
    • Test reports (if available);
    • Russian SDS (if available).
    An SDS development specialist will contact you.
  • 2 Sign the agreement and pay the invoice.
    For invoicing please send a scanned copy of the agreement signed from your side. Pay the invoice.

  • 4 Obtaining SDS

      Upon completion of work you’ll obtain the SDS in electronic form (.doc format) in English (and in Russian, if necessary), in accordance with the regulation of the country specified in the application.

  • 1 Send us the application for the service.

  • 5 Additional Information:

    Development of safety data sheets (SDS) is carried out in accordance with the national standards of the country / region. For example, if a product is supplied to the EU, SDS must be developed in accordance with REACH, CLP and 453/2010. China, Japan, USA, Australia, Brazil, Turkey, etc. have their own legislation (and related standards / regulations), therefore each country / region requires its own safety data sheet.

    It is important to remember that unlike Russian SDS, safety data sheets for export operations don’t have to be registered! The SDS itself has to be updated if new information of the hazards of the chemical product is available, or if the legislation is changed. .
